As much as possible, discussions should be grounded in an objective evaluation of verifiable data. Obscure data or data that runs counter to conventional wisdom shall be adequately sourced. Inferences developed from the data shall be bounded by a well articulated theory. Normative discussions, i.e. “what ought to be”, are discouraged.
