Return to Voting Machines--Can They Be and Are They Rigged?

There's been lots of controversy over whether Bush actually won Florida in 2000 or Ohio in 2004. Had the results in either of those states gone the other way, the candidate of the Democrats would have won the presidency.

This thread is for posting any information relative to the question: Can elections in the US be rigged? If so, why, how and by who?
