Return to Aerodynamic technology and clever usage ?

Recently, there are advanced technology developments in the aerodynamics field.

The frontal resistance studies resulted in lined frontal shape(duck bill) instead of the tradition pointed frontal profile. This resulted in more lift on the fusselage.

On Airbus A320, the lift improvement resulted in ceiling height of 44,000 feet, and landing speed of 128 MPH. This flight height imprevement achieved 650 mph cruising speed. The mile per seat cost reduction is better on cost per gallon of gasoline. The wingspan is now shorter and wing width is narrower.

This is a major technological improvement for airlines to adopt. Older planes from Boeing all have to have a face lift with cheap nose cone adaptor. By shifting the nose cone center line lower, more lift can be achieved on fuselage. But have a lined duck bill style, more air will flow slower on the fusselage and create more lift.

Trvel business will be cheaper and more profitable with simple nose cone job.
