Automotive - products offer wireless and GPS to cars. Applications include hands-free calls from the car, real-time interactive traffic information, and locating nearby shops and places of interest while traveling. An interesting note is that Wavecom products are used in the BMW 7-Series.
M2M (Machine to Machine) - products use wireless technology to collect data
remotely and transform this data into useful information. Applications include data feeds from utility meters, ATMs, vending machines, and security systems. |
