Denison Mines Corp.(TSX: DML)(AMEX: DNN) -
In Utah, at the Tony M mine, permitting is progressing well

At the White Mesa mill, the $15 million modernization program
is proceeding on schedule.
The program includes modifications to the mill circuit,
upgrading of equipment and relining of tailings cell 4A..
The mill continues to process alternate feed material
from several large contracts.
Uranium production at the White Mesa mill for 2007
is anticipated to be about 400,000 pounds.
By 2010, production levels from U.S. operations are anticipated
to reach greater than 3 million pounds U3O8 and 4.5 million
pounds of vanadium.
The Company intends to maximize the advantage of its 100%
ownership in the only operating conventional uranium/vanadium
mill in the U.S.
To that end, in addition to processing its own ore and alternate
feed material, the Company has commenced negotiating toll -
milling arrangements with other mines in the region and -
is preparing an ore buying schedule for release
in the second quarter of 2007.

The General Mining Act of 1872 is a United States -
Great Federal Law that authorizes and governs -
prospecting and mining for economic minerals -
on publicly owned lands -

When Congress passed the General Mining Act of 1872,
the wording was changed to "or other valuable deposits,"
giving greater scope to the law.
The 1872 act also granted extralateral rights -
to lode claims.

A mining claim is the right to explore for -
and extract minerals from a tract of land.

All mining claims are initially unpatented claims,
which give the right only for those activities -
necessary to exploration and mining.

The 1872 law granted extralateral rights to owners
of lode claims.
This gave the owners of the surface outcrop -
of a vein the right to follow and mine the vein -
wherever it led, even if its subsurface extension -
continued beneath other mining claims -

This provision, also known as the law -
of the apex led to lengthy litigation -
and even underground mining battles -

A Little Moab History -
In early 1952 an unemployed Texas geologist named
Charley Steen discovered one of the the mines in the
World's largest concentrations of uranium ore
near Moab, Utah.
Steen became an instant millionaire and set off a modern
day mining boom -
His Mi Vida Mine is famous for sitting in the largest
high-grade pitchblende (uranium) ore body ever discovered
at that time in the United States,
last valued at more than 160 Million (1953 dollars -
about $1.6 Billion in 2007 fiatz-dollars).

Charlie Steen's mine, Mi Vida - this old mine Lady started
the whole uranium boom in the Moab area -

This discovery unleashed a massive "uranium boom" on
the Colorado Plateau, and turned tiny Moab, UT into
"the uranium capital of the world."
The mine closed in the 1980s.

The old RSDS mines were discovered and mine workings has
started when US Gov. said, the Gov. the inventorie is
now filled -
and we don't need any more U3O8 for the bombs for some years,
so you may close down the mines now.

Do we have all the old U3O8 mines in the hottest
concentrations -
