Petrostar Petroleum Corp., Vancouver, British Columbia, (Toronto Venture: PEP) reports its A5 well in the southeast Saskatchewan portion of the Bakken shale has hit more than 60 feet of pay. The company reports it will carry out flow tests before starting production.

The company also reports that testing of the nearby A3 well shows two major oil showings—a 42-foot pay zone that corresponds with the A5 and a 30-foot zone that may be a lighter oil.
