Obesity, and the morbidity issues that go with this condition(HBP and Diabetes), is one of the major health problems that we face in the USA. Current drugs and those in final development don't address the major problems that the truly obese patients have..major weight loss needs,lowering HBP and diabetic conditions. Plus many of the drugs have major side effects.
(ETRM) is in final testing for their devise and plans are to submit it for FDA approval by the end of '09. Coming within the next few weeks there should be news on several fronts. As with any company that needs FDA approval the hurdles are high and the need for cash is paramount. It appears that (ETRM) has the needed cash, the strong management team needed, and at this point data that looks very promising.

Very informative......even address some of the issue that you might have always wanted to know about Band and Gastric-By- Pass procedures. Might make you have second thoughts on those methods and the ensuing results that you 'might' get.
