In the summer of 2008 oil prices reached historic highs with a zenith of $147/bbl. Was this just a chance occurrence? Was it speculation? Or was it due to the world reaching a peak in global oil production? The answer to these questions have momentous implications for the world. The Modern World runs on fossil fuels, more specifically OIL. Oil has driven the Industrial Revolution and the Technology Age. But if oil production goes into TERMINAL DECLINE, what will it mean for the world?
