CIB Marine Bancshares Inc. OTCBB: CIBH: was incorporated in Illinois in 85 as Sidney Bancorporation, Inc., a one-bank holding company headquartered in Sidney, Illinois. In September 1987, a group of investors acquired Sidney Bancorporation and changed its name to Central Illinois Bancorp, Inc. On August 27, 99, Central Illinois Bancorp reincorporated as a WI corporation, changing its name to CIB Marine Bancshares, Inc.
