Sun and weather are obviously concomitant, however the sun is typically seen just as a relatively constant supply of radiation. Solar activity impacts the Earth's magnetic field, and I've observed ensuing changes in atmospheric patterns and tectonic activity. This belief leads me to wager that significant and costly impacts can be anticipated and forecasted by studying solar activity. I am also curious to observe if Bradley dates impact changes in lower-frequency teleconnection on different time-scales (Arctic Oscillation, Pacific Decadal Oscillation, etc.). Furthermore, theStag has noted some relation between magnetic fluctuations and stock market activity.
Who knows? I'm ignorant and am trying to learn. This is in the infancy stages. Small steps. I will start this out as a diary of testing forecasting ideas and some discussion. |
