Swayze Property Overview

Swayze Property Detail

Swayze Property - The Property is located within the Swayze Greenstone Belt of northern Ontario. The Property is 63,137 contiguous Acres (~25,551 Hectares or ~98.65 sq. miles), central to Iamgold’s Cote Lake Deposit at 8,700,000 ounces Au (indicated and inferred) to the East and Probe Mines’ Borden Lake Deposit at 4,300,000 ounces Au (indicated and inferred) to the West.

The geology consists of an intercalated sequence of archean metavolcanics, metasediments and felsic intrusions that host numerous significant gold deposits. To date, 21 distinct gold bearing quartz-carbonate primary veins have been identified at the Kenty Gold Mine section of the Property alone, of which only 8 have ever been mined. The veins are either simple or stockwork veins that average 1 to 1.5 meters in width. Historical reports indicate that gold occurs in the veins as coarse grains erratically concentrated in high grade pods. Certificates of assay from the Ontario Department of Mines in 1946 on vein material ranged from 0.40 to 117.70 ounces per ton gold.

Historical work at the Property dates back to 1930 when the Kenty brothers first discovered gold there. Two 500-foot plus shafts were sunk on the Property followed by extensive drifting, crosscutting, raising, drilling and operation of a 5-Ton stamp mill in the mid to late 1930's.

The delineation of high grade vein mineralization has been the primary focus for historical exploration work at the Property. A review of historical sampling records by JGRI management has determined that wall rock alteration halos surrounding high grade veins are host to gold mineralization. Consequently the actual widths of gold mineralization at the Property could be much broader than historical exploration reports have indicated. Moving forward, the development of bulk tonnage gold reserves at the Property will be a key exploration focus for JGRI management. The Company has recently confirmed mineralization within secondary veins, never before considered for gold bearing value, up to 5.41 grams per tonne Au from grab samples.

Sample results from primary veins on the Kenty Gold Mine Property are provided below:

Graphite Properties - (map pending)

The Brougham Property -
is 395.37 acres (160 hectares) within Brougham Township. The property is located in the Renfrew area (Mining District 90 of Southern Ontario, Canada). The Brougham Property is located adjacent to the past producing Black Donald Graphite Mine, on Black Donald Lake, central to patented mining claims.
The Black Donald Graphite Mine was one of the largest and richest graphite deposits in North America. It had reported historic ore grades of up to 80% Cg and during the last 10 years of mine life the average reported grade was 25-30% Cg. 94% of the total value of Ontario graphite production came from the Black Donald Mine. Flake, amorphous and crystalline graphite was produced from the mine. The majority of the graphite was used for lubricant purposes. Other grades of the material were used for foundry facings, paints for iron and steel and stove polish. The best grade of flake graphite averaged over 98% carbon (Ontario Geological Survey, 2011).

The Bigwood Property - a contiguous block of 6 mining claims, with an area of 1304.72 acres (528 hectares) in Bigwood Township, Sudbury Mining District, Province of Ontario. The property is located along the north shore of the French River, 22 kilometers upstream from its mouth on Georgian Bay. The Bigwood Property is a highly prospective target for Graphite with exploration work with graphite observed in flake aggregates of 1/16? to 1/2? in diameter. Larger flakes, including 3? diameter flake have been found in zones of hydrothermal pegmatitic nepheline syenite (Komerechka, 1988, Ontario Geological Survey).
