Menneval Gold: The Company completed a trenching and channel sampling program over the Maisie zone at its wholly owned Menneval gold project in New Brunswick. SLAM’s exploration team cut 29 channel samples at 5 and/or 10 metre intervals. The samples are from 4 separate sections of the vein system and represent a strike length of 213 m. Visible gold occurs in 13 samples. The weighted average grade is 6.64 g/t gold over a thickness of 0.52 m. Assays range from 0.01 g/t over 0.64m to 49.51/t gold over 0.45 m.
In Q1-F2014, the Company completed phase II of a 64-hole diamond drilling program. Bonanza grade core intervals grading up to 121.00 g/t gold over 0.31 m were drilled This bonanza grade interval occurs in hole MG1363 within a 0.85 m interval grading 44.53 g/t gold. Trenching and drilling indicate a strike length of at least 700 m and a vertical depth of at least 30 m. The vein is open along strike and at depth.
