I've been in the stock for about 7 months. They supply 3D theaters, interactive rides and motion picture "rides" (ie where the seats move)
I've tried their rides and really like them - they attract both the young and the young at heart.
The stock has been moving in spurts - jumping every 3 months with earning release (sometimes before and sometimes after)and then leveling off. The recent jumps have been up with positive earnings surprises. The stock fell 20% about a month ago when their CFO resigned to pursue other interests but it has since leveled off.
They have little analyst coverage - their next earnings should be out later this month. It trades at a relatively high P/E but only a fraction of the P/E of IMAX who is in a similar business. |
