Return to MAGS - Magal Security - Airport Bomb Detection + more

I started a thread on MAGSF a few days ago in the $5 and under forum. Problem is that this stock is now up at $7.5 :-). Makes me happy as a shareholder.

Anyway, I think that it's appropriate to move the discussion here, especially since the big INVN thread is here also. INVN is the biggest competitor to MAGSF at the moment, since INVN's airport bomb detection machine has FAA approval and MAGSF's does not. Reasoning: FAA requires the machine to detect "explosives," and INVN's detects "explosives" while MAGSF's detects "explosive devices." Don't know what the technical differences are.

MAGSF is a profitable company, estimates are .27 for FY '96, but only .29 (7% growth) for FY '97. One analyst follows the company.

I posted an analysis of MAGSF over in the $5 and under area. I can repost it here if desired.
