Electronic Retailing Systems International have just completed an offering of stock on the AIM market in London. They are the first company to be listed simultaneously on Nasdaq and the AIM. The listing in London raised about $12,000,000.
They have had some favourable comments in the national press here in London. On August 1, 1996 they announced their Q2 interim results showing a 250% rise in revenues over the same quarter in 1995. Revenues rose from $397,000 to just over $1,420,000. ERSI are still loss making but if revenues continue to grow at this rate they will break into profit quite soon.
Does anyone out there know much about their ERS ShelfNet(TM) system ? Favourable comments have been made about it but I have not seen it installed here in Europe but maybe someone in the US has and may be able to pass on some comments.
Some people in London think that this stock could be at the start of something big. What do you think ? Let me know.
