ONCONASE has been in Phase III trials since last November. I have heard very little about progress or perhaps early approval by the FDA. Does anyone have knowledge of progress along these lines. Alfacell has been an exciting prospect for substantial gains once this drug is approved for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer. The drug targets solid tumors, which are mostly resistant to other drugs. ONCONASE has also shown some effectiveness as an anti-viral agent in the treatment of the HIV virus type 1.
