Over the past 3 days, (FLYAF on NASDAQ) Candian Helicopter Corporation(CHC)has won 2 huge contracts, one for C$70 million on 8/13 (story on Reuters and Business Wire) and another for C$50-70 million on 8/15 (story on Reuters Toronto Bureau).
Awhile ago I posted asking for advice about buying some stock in the company. From the responses I decided to purchase several thousand shares at 4. With these deals over the past couple of days I just bought another 2,000 at 3 1/4. The company looks to be extremely strong fundamentally and is really on a roll with the contracts. Seems to be the only thing that's holding the stock back is people knowing about it.
I'd appreciate any additional information anyone may have on this company such as the majority owners of their stock, etc. Also, right now at 3 1/4 bid; 3 1/2 ask.
