Hanover Direct is a specialty mail order catalog company which just went through a rights offering to secure needed capital. It is currently priced at $1 with projections for a strong Q3 and Q4. It is a classic turnaround stock with all new management and a rebounding retail econony to get it going again. Good press in a July issue of Barron's contained supporting data for the entire catalog group which is headed up by Land's End. Its appeal centers around its cap ratio. It is currently about 0.2 and the stock will trade at a ratio of 1.0 or so when it returns to favor. This places a $5 target price based on this parameter alone. Anyone else following it?? |
