Well, I have been looking around the net for other small time investors who have learned something about TYK. I got into it a little while back due to the fact the big boys seemed to be the only ones playing it and Lundin is involved. With press releases finally coming out, it won't be long before the masses start to get in: "Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd., announces that the Mita-1 well was spudded at 14:00 hours on October 3rd. This well is the first of a two well, onshore oil exploration program on the Mandawa Block in Tanzania, Africa.
Mita-1 will be drilled to 7,000 feet to test the giant 125 square kilometre Mita Prospect at basement level. This prospect, which has more than 1,500 feet of structural relief, has potential oil reserves in place of 4.4 billion barrels.
An official spud ceremony was held for the Company with a television crew on hand to record the event. Mr. Adolf H. Lundin joined Tanzanian Government dignitaries at the drill site for the proceedings.
The second well, known as East Lika-1, will be drilled to 6,000 feet to test a 30 square kilometre structural closure with 700 feet of structural relief. This prospect has potential oil reserves in place of 640 million barrels. Drill site preparations have already begun." Anyone else following this company? |
