STAC is a software stock that I really like (& own). The projected
earnings for fiscal 1996 are 0.55/share +45% over 1995 and
accelerating. Microsoft just acquired a 17% stake in the company
this month. There is a good reason for that. STAC makes some
excellent and hence very popular storage & communications products
for PCs and also data communications and storage products. Sales in
the quarter ending 9/30/95 were +48% over same quarter last year!
Earnings jumped +83% over same quarter last year..... What do you
think about STAC?
