Answers to obsolete questions

What satellites are involved in this service?
Who owns them? Is it one or two?
What are the orbit slots?
Were they on Galaxy IV?
Where did they go ...or what
satellite replaced it?.

Huges Airospace runs 2 Satellites, One for DirecPC only
customers, and another for DirecDUO customers. The DirecPC
satellite was involved with the Galexy IV failure, and
customers were required to repoint their dishes to the
other Satellite, where it will stay. Customers got $15
rebate if they repointed themselves, or free onsite
service to have other's do the repointing of 5 degrees.
Since repointing in May, I have had no problems with
the service and thru-put has actually improved.
