Howard,
I also own a 90 Acura Legend Coupe. It has been running excellently for the last 9 years. Yes, it is true that you have to have the timing belt, water pump, etc. replaced every 60,000 miles. (I had mine done also at 75,000 miles along with the CVC boots, etc.). It's in the service manual. All Hondas and Acuras require the timing belt change; inherent in the design. But if you own an Acura, then you can afford it anyways. You can fix your automatic antenna yourself if you buy the antenna part from the Dealer; about $50. Check the instructions in the service manual. As to the cassette player, you can replace it with an aftermarket CD (Alpine) magazine player for about $300 installed. Check with Circuit City.
If you want a better car, you will probably have to pay more monies ($30,000 to $35,000). Have you seen the new car prices lately? Check out the new Mercedes 420s.
