Yes, my reading is that this order isn't very meaningful to Alcatel and hugely disappointing to Westel even though they aren't ruled out from future pruchases and this is only a fraction of a fraction of future sales. Something I don't understand is that Alacatel's offering talks about sharing a line for both voice and data. Have I missed something? I don't remember hearing about this with other adsl developers. Sounds almost like an ISDN line. Amati did well yesterday. Perhaps we'll see a good bounce from WSTL when the dust settles. Probably still a better get that ALA. Mark
