I will admit that I did not read the book and have no intention of doing so. Gorilla is an old wall street term which basically means a company is dominant in an industry. When I first posted the stock had closed around 20 1/4 or so. It is up nearly forty percent since then, and I have a feeling it will move higher short term. As far as your comment that any stock that runs up is a gorilla, thats just plain BS.

Go take a look at the Peregrine thread - I have been posting there for months. It has been my experience on SI that companies do not get very popular on the threads are very speculative - the best example being IOM. At least I got a few people to ask about the company. The best gorilla game is finding out the gorillas of tomorrow. Talking about current gorillas might be fun, but is as useful as yesterdays newspaper.

But since this thread is on that book, I will no longer post here as it is a forum for that. Just keep an eye on PRGN.

As far as saying AOL is not a gorilla in their field really makes me
laugh. He can name them whatever members of the animal kingdom he wants, but on Wall Street AOL is THE Gorilla for online services.

Best of luck to everyone.
