Good to have you here. We really need more interest to keep this thread going. To find someone that is both interested and also knows about autos is great!
I, and apparently others here (don't know how many more there are these days), got into this thing from *strategic* considerations (like the fact that Nissan is in principle a sound company that has been beaten up, that Japan will turnaround any year now, that there will be a lot of consolidation in the car industry and Nissan could be a target, that Nissan is selling for less than book value, that Daimler, that the Yen was cheap and the Nikkei still is cheap, that Nissan owns a sizable chunk of Fuji and other Bank shares, real estate, etc etc.)
On the other hand a good discussion about Nissan's cars, dealers etc would also be, of course, very very appropriate! Please do post and see if can get this thing going again.
