SS is already deducting Plan B and I will add Plan G with Mutual of Omaha & Part D drug coverage will be Humana in February.

The reason I'm waiting till February is only to save money, but my Medigap has to start before March 1st to avoid underwriting and have guaranteed acceptance based on my birthday.

Everyone's initial and first time open enrollment to add supplemental Medicare starts on the 1st day of the month you turn 65 and lasts 6 months with guaranteed acceptance.

After the first enrollment everything switches to the Medicare calendar for everyone.

This is important, but I did not sign up for the free & crappy Medicare Advantage because I wouldn't be able to make changes till the next open enrollment which would be after my guaranteed acceptance window.
