When are we going to get the full brunt of cost push inflation via these sustained high energy prices? Many things way up but no where near the extent of the 1970's even with interest rates so low? Do consistently rising rates over time increase inflation given higher costs of capital to business that must eventually be passed on to consumers? Have we been on the other side of this via the financial repression this cycle?
