Lester, You wise sage, you have seen it all in your lifetime. Think back to when you were a boy. Young people today don't realize the tremendous advances that civilization has taken in the last 100 years. They don't consider that back at the beginning of this century that the railroad and horse and buggy were the high tech modes of transportation. The light bulb and the telephone and radio were considered the "high tech" inventions of the time. Just think, in less than 100 years where our civilization has come from and the strides we've made due to meeting the needs of common people to make their lives more comfortable and less burdensom. We have conquered the skies, the seas, our planet, and are branching out to investigate our solar system and try to understand what "our" place is in the scheme of things in the universe. I bet you could write a book on your observations and impressions of the changes that have taken place. You,above all, have experienced it and intuitively know that the need to advance and improve will continue to thrive. That is the destiny of mankind, to climb out of the abyss of the primordial swamps to reach out and achieve greatness, and to leave a legacy of constant improvement for all who come after.
