donkeyman,
I suspect that drilling will start next week, with all three rigs at the same time. Good point about the parallel between DFR and NWI, here is what my sources indicate (geos friends in Sudbury ):
1. Chances NWI hits next hole are very good, they suspect NWI drilled just enough to prove the high grade is there, they stopped just at the edge of the mineralized zone.
2. Deposit could be an ovoid or a cigar shape, nobody knows this yet, either way, the important aspect will be to trace the feeder system. They suspect that NWI geos have already a god grip as to the direction that the feeder system extends.
3. Chances of open pit mine looks good so far. Chances for thicker high grade (10%+) Ni looks also good based on the the analysis of the core from the past 10 holes (not just 99-01).
4. The new discovery zone is relatively new, they had spent a lot of time and effort chasing channel sampling west of the property without success, so this hole is a surprise for everyone.
