Earlier this month, when the question of a rate increase pointed towards an increase, I posted that an increase was very doubtful because of the current consumer default rates. These are at record highs. I believe that any rate increase would stifle the purchasing power that is required to keep our economy from slipping into a recession. Just some thoughts...
