There's a lot to be said for having one of those large, water-tight plastic containers full of "..Be Prepared.." items in your trunk. I always carry my fishin' gear, also. And, I'm thinking about adding an Armalite AR-7 .22 rifle with box or two of .22 magnum ammo.
