It is likely that Apple would outsource Intel-based pc with additional
software (applications or even kernal) contributed by Apple.

It is great to hear that Apple has contacted with IBM and Microsoft to
boost its market shares. In MacSurfer's Headline News there are two
updated news:

- USA Today - Apple courts IBM to build portables;
- Newsbytes - Apple Tight-Lipped on Gates Visit Claim.

As long as Apple strides to suceed, there is always a hope to come back
to its glorious days.

Besides, Apple has three areas that have very strong presentations:

- Multimedia: it will be worth 1.2 trillion by year 2005 based on
Dr. Amelio speech when visiting China last year; Apple has
excellent products in this field;

- Internet/Intranet - Have you seen that Netscape's chairman's speech
in MacWorld show last Janunary. His speech shows Nexscape's strong
interest to work together with Apple to capture this market share,
which will be total of 200 billions by year 2000.

- Education - Apple's new OS as well as its newest updated technology
will enable it to stand firm in this field and students will benefit
most from its exciting new OS. Apple is not only a strong show in
US, but also in Japan and French.
