Mary; So far, however, I don't think they have done a good job communicating what they are doing. I just hope they are not relying on a honeymoon period to get this stimulus plan through Congress. Exactly! The republicans are getting traction on this because they can dangle pathetic spending ideas that fail under the scrutiny of public inspection. What were the democrats thinking? That nobody would pay attention? Much of this is Obama's failing - likely because of inexperience. He should have demanded better ideas from the House...... steve
