ALEXA VONAGE / MAGICJACK TRAFFIC RANKINGS
I was interested in a yahoo post talking about Vonage's traffic ratings, stating nothing was happening at Vonage. I
wanted to investigate and respond, but alas, the original poster must have been kicked off of Yahoo.
Had a little time this afternoon, so here it is!
The first thing I noticed was that this site deals with international RANKINGS - not hits. THE SMALLER THE RANKING THE BETTER!
I thought I'd compare Vonage and one of their competitors, Magic Jack.

WHAT Does this tell me?
First you have to remember that the last week 's numbers are averaged into all those numbers and since the last weeks numbers are better than they were 3 months ago, the three months averages look higher!
Shame we couldn't see a 7 day average from three months ago.
VONAGE'S INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC RATING MOVED UP FROM the 3 month average of 3,504th to the 7 day average of 2,918th!!!!!
FRIDAY'S RANKING WAS 2,568th
In other word by Friday Vonage's ranking had moved up 1/3 of the internatiotional list in the last three months.
AND it had moved up 350 places of the internatiotional list in the last week!
NOW the 1 month average wasn't that much different than the 3 months average, so most of the move came very recently!!! It had moved up 1/4 of the list, but again the last weeks numbers were included in the one month average making the whole month look better.
I'd say that was QUITE an improvement!! Vonage World has to be attracting these customers:

CONVERSLEY, we see that MAGIC JACK IS DROPPING LIKE A ROCK!!!!
THESE are numbers that WILL TRANSLATE TO THE BOTTOM LINE! They show that Vonage World has had a HUGE IMPACT. |
