Daytraders made less money on AMD than buy & hold investors, I'd bet. The smaller the time frame of an investment, the more random the price movement. Look at an intra-day chart of AMD and you'll generally see noise. Take a step back to a daily chart for six months and you'll see something less than random. In fact, you'll see something glorious to behold!
