OT/OT And, while we're in this mode, amidst trying to track down evidence of stories that Bush was AWOL during his National Guard stint (would anyone be surprised?), new rumors about replacing Cheney on the GOP ticket with Giuliani. Given Cheney's shining status as a lightning rod for attacks (Halliburton, revelations that disclosure of Wilson's wife as CIA came through Cheney's office), there may be some credence there. By the way, who would be expected to pay to see whom at that dinner? What's that about Democrats trying to think like Republicans? quid
