He'll likely be the first black president but it might not be this time around. The South isn't ready for a black President yet and I doubt they will vote for him. I could be wrong, but the southern states still have some deeply imbedded racism running rampant and I don't think they can seriously vote for Obama yet. Even some blacks have trouble with him cause he might be "too white" for some. We are close to it, but not quite there yet. It may also be the same case for a female presidential candidate. Hard to say.
