Respect for the courts as the final word--even if sometimes we don't like their decisoons--is the bedrock of a stable republic.

Respect must be earned, not granted by fiat. If the Judiciary does not act responsibly, but rather like a political/partisian tool, well, we'll have chaos indeed.
