AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Littlefield Corporation (OTCBB: LTFD - News) announced it has sold its Premiere Tents and Events business unit located in Austin, Texas to an undisclosed purchaser. The asset sale is anticipated to result in a gain which will be determined in accordance with the terms of the purchase agreement and reflected in the Company’s second quarter results.

Jeffrey L Minch, President and CEO of Littlefield Corporation made the following comment:

“The sale of Premiere Tents & Events is a welcome development and the company is now in the hands of an owner for whom this business is their core business and who can provide the focus and expertise that such an opportunity deserves.

“Taken in concert with other important recent developments including the sale of Word of Mouth and the settlement of all regulatory matters pertaining to the South Carolina Department of Revenue, this sale will allow the Company to focus on growing its charitable bingo business.
