I think that's the first time I have seen or heard the word "conservation" used in the last two months of reading/listening to the energy debate. It's actually totally pathetic because that's really the only short term solution. Conservation will do far more to alleviate the problem than increasing drilling or increasing supply, and it can be done RIGHT NOW. No derricks in parks, no threats to foreign countries, and savings are immediate.

It'll never happen. Makes too much sense.
