>>>You argued that they ought to suck it up. Lo and behold, PGE filed for bankruptcy, and California had to agree to raise prices.<<<

You conveniently forget that CA rate payers had to "suck it up" for the first two years while they paid high prices relative to what it was costing PGE and So Cal Ed to buy the electricity so the companies recover their stranded costs even after they sold their plants at a handsome profit to Dynergy, Reliant, Duke etc...Yes you conveniently forget this every time. This is the deal these morons agreed to, so yeah, they can just "suck it up."

>>>What good do you think will come from it?<<<

Hopefully for the states that are in restructuring or a phased in dereg it will become an object lesson from which they will learn something.

>>>5.Punishment of the innocent<<<

>>>Yet you remain fixated on a witchhunt.<<<

Did you somehow miss the part about how they were powering their plants up and down sometimes 4-5 times an hours and wrecking their plants in the processes in an effort to manipulate the price of electricity at the direction of the trading floor?

ROTFLMAO...Oh yeah...the generators were completely blameless here...UR priceless.
