I present you with logic and you call it hooveritis. OK, let's try this again. Exactly why do you think more debt and more spending will solve our problems, when we already have too much debt that is beginning to crowd out other spending? More gov't spending was necessary because all non gov't spending froze to a stand still. Corps stopped doing anything. The banks were in trouble. The economy needed stimulus; not austerity. When the economy is functioning on all cylinders; then and only then, do you start cutting back gov't spending.
