I am very concerned about junk food in schools. I'd like to see that be a priority, since fat unhealthy kids grow up to be fat unhealthy adults, and end up straining our health service system. We know good eating habits start young, and yet lots of kids don't have parents who themselves eat properly, so how will those parents raise healthy kids? Schools ought to have a role here, and some pilot programs have shown it is no more expensive to feed kids healthy meals.
