CEOs first: machines don't need wages, health care or pensions so the wealth created by those machines has to go someplace so it goes to investors through buybacks. CEOs are responsible for fewer and fewer workers but their wages go up. Why is that?

Then when CEOs do have workers they pay them so little that they can't grow the economy. After the recession wages didn't go up until 2015 and that only happened because many states forced CEOs to stop starving their workers (and crippling the economy). If CEOs are so damn smart who did they think would buy what they sell when they weren't paying people enough money to buy what they made? Giving money to investors didn't grow the economy. It never has. Money has to go to the people who earned it (the workers). This redistribution of wealth from workers to non-workers (investors) is crippling the economy.

I agree with every word in the second paragraph except your denunciation of Sec. Clinton. Our founding fathers were in government for decades and created a reasonably well crafted Constitution. We used to value experience, today we denounce it as the "establishment" or some other meaningless slogan.

Capitalism was severely damaged during the Reagan years. People, states, and businesses now expect the government to go deeper into debt to give them money while we use the euphemism tax cut to justify that debt. The debt soared under Reagan and Bush after they cut taxes. Do our great business minds say no more debt? No, they say give me more debt (tax cuts). They search endlessly for excuses (reasons) for the government to go deeper into debt to finance their incompetence.

Can we blame other generations for what was forced on them by tax cutters? Add to this the fact that republicans haven't raised taxes in decades. Seriously, who's that dumb? They are pure socialists in that they think every penny they spend, every penny of debt they create is justified so they can maintain control over the people.

Today, a majority of republicans think colleges and universities are bad for America. We can fix these problems but not until the gop is banned.

A party that can't pay for what it spends doesn't deserve to exist.
