Every president brings into government new people. He literally hires thousands of new people who enact some of the changes he wants. The idea that "the establishment" is or was a problem is silly and nonintellectual.

If people really wanted to get rid of the powers that be, they'd have voted against every republican in the House and Senate since they had power and weren't doing anything. The "I'm an outsider" stuff is not new to Trump. They all say the exact same things. That man adds absolutely nothing to our national debate. He throws shiny things for the right and left to chase after, like dogs chasing after a new toy. That's not leadership. He's utterly incapable of leading.

There are some great CEOs. Google, Apple, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon etc. Needless to say, they're all very liberal and/or have very liberal company policies. I've always found it odd that liberals were able to harness (or exploit) the Internet (depending on your point of view). The wealth created by liberals from just this one thing is historic and under-recognized. As you say we don't think anymore.
