Many kids are not getting any good meals. I have students who eat NO meals with their parents, and haven't for years. They snack on junk food all day long. They come to school eating candy bars and drinking Starbucks, they eat junk for lunch, and junk for dinner. Momma is at work, and not making breakfast or dinner, in many cases.
