I just finished a 2 hr/day, 5 day training course at a local day trading firm, the course consisted of level II screen simulation, class room work, basic strategies, etc. For $100, that is pretty reasonable. I surely don't want put up 3000 or 5000 for training.
This trading firm I am looking into charges $14 per ticket, which drops to $10 when you are over 100/month. There is $500/month for data feed(tradecast software and S&P comstock), again this drops to $0 when trading over 100 tickets/month. The location is in a convenient office building, air conditioned, well lighted, and clean. Oh BTW, soft drinks are free.
I am posting this information not to advertise for anybody but to let everybody know what you should expect when you are shelling out loads of commission money everyday.
