Whatever works is what you should do. The only problem I have ever seen is where a guy starts out with a day trade and it goes the wrong way. Suddenly he calls it a "position trade".

If it keeps going the wrong way, it then becomes "an excellent long term investment".

Wrong.

If it's a day trade, it's a day trade. If it goes wrong, you get out, you don't twist your brain into making it a position trade.

If you find yourself thinking, "I'm way past my limit on this, I have to hold it", just step out into the back yard and let the dog bite you, it's less painful and it's over faster.

I wish there were some things that I didn't learn the hard way. <ggg>
