I read your post about the Unix "issue", and all I got out of it was that Netscape server seems to have been misconfigured on some Sun boxes, and that Sun's Tcp/IP implementation seemed to be having problems corresponding with Microsoft's Tcp/IP implementation. Having studied Tcp/IP, I can certainly understand that someone may have trouble implementing it (whether that was the Sun people, some of whom were involved in inventing Tcp/IP, or Microsoft, I won't venture to guess). I don't, however, understand what that has to do with NT having holes in it that are so wide you can drive a truck through them.

Yes, at first I did think it was a scaleability issue, but then I learned that it was just a poorly thought out design in general.
