Don't blame you for wanting a rustic cabin...Had to laugh tho'...my hubby's folks lived in a late 1800's house, built by his great grandfather. So when my father in law built something new, my mother in law said: "Wouldn't you just know....FINALLY, I get a new house, and it's so authentically old, that even the floors all have wooden pegs in them...." It was a big grin for all of us....but they did make it very cozy and nice inside....no dishwasher, or any of that "stuff" but did have sinks and running water, and lights, things that the old cabins certainly wouldn't have had... Good luck with your project!
